The Trane/American Standard Perfect Fit air filter is a factory original replacement filter for Trane and American Standard air cleaners. The filter is 17.5 inches by 21 inches, and is five inches deep. The filter media is pleated, providing additional surface area to capture impurities in the air, like dust, dirt, allergens, chemicals, and mold and bacteria.
Over time, the filter media becomes full, and air flow will begin to suffer. For optimal performance, this filter should be changed every six months. Please consult your owner’s manual for additional information on changing your Trane Perfect Fit Air Cleaner filter.
